Public Programmes and Collaborations

The House of Zaikanama participates in public conversations on food history through lectures, workshops, and collaborative programmes.

Recent activities include talks and workshops for schools and colleges, discussions with independent research groups, and collaborations with organisations working across culture and community engagement.

One recent collaboration explored the relationship between food, body, and cultural practice in partnership with an organisation working in sexual wellness and LGBTQ community outreach.

These programmes extend the research of the House beyond the archive and into public discussion.
